Carey Rowland

Carey Rowland is a schoolteacher and author of novel, Glass Half Full. Carey was born in Louisiana in 1951, obtained BS from Louisiana State University in 1973, lived in Florida for a year and a half, moved to in Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina in 1975. He married Pat (in 1980), and they have three grown children: Micah, Kim and Katie.
Carey studied education at Appalachian State University,to obtain licensure to teach high school English, middle school language arts and social studies.
