Kitania Kavey (aka Kitty), is an American Screenwriter/Director/Producers/Actress/Model originally from New York City. Kitty has overcome many challenges, not the least of which are homelessness, poverty and disability. She works as a screenwriter and does screenplay consulting/script coverage. She is a professional actress and a member of the Screen Actors Guild. She is also a commercial print model and does voice-over.

After a motorcycle accident when she was twenty, Kitty lost part of her vision and sustained a brain injury. It was difficult for her to find her place in society, particularly since she hadn’t finished high school and had no job skills. She went through two brain injury rehabilitation programs/vocational training for the disabled and it was advised that she consider living in a state-run group home. Always one to take the more challenging path through life, she refused. Eventually a talent agent took interest in her. Kitty began learning about and working as much as she could in modeling and acting.

She founded the websites Florida-Models.com in 1996 and Florida-Actors.com in 1999. Around 2002 she moved to Los Angeles and tried her hand at directing, producing and screenwriting. There were small successes and she found herself living the life she had before only imagined. There were red carpet events, awards for her work and she ended up living in a new luxury loft in downtown, overlooking the former Skid Row area where once she had been herself as a homeless teen.

In 2007 she left America and moved to the city of Alkmaar in the Noord-Holland province of the Netherlands. She continues to write for the Hollywood market and may have her own life story made into a book or screenplay.

She is a big fan of indoor flying (inside a wind tunnel).
