Pallavi Chandak, is the founder and artistic director of Bollywood Shuffle, St. Louis, MO (a dance company to promote folk and contemporary Indian dance) has been dancing since she was 5 yrs old. She studied the classical dance form of Kathak in Pune, India. After moving to the U.S., she continued her pursuit of classical dance. She studied the classical dance form of Bharatnatyam for 5 years and then graduated in this dance from Dances of India in 2003.
Pallavi has performed Bollywood dances on Fox 2 News and on Channel 4. She has performed at several international festivals in and around St. Louis like the World's Fair, Festival of Nations, Dance Week of St. Louis, Asian Center, International Fall Festival, Asia Heritage Day, and many others.
Pallavi got her Masters in Management of Information Systems from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. She now teaches Bollywood dance in St. Louis.
