Ross Marshall is the President of Marshall Group Inc., Knoxville, Tennessee. Marshall Motors was Established 1935 in Sydney, Australia, by his father, the late A.J. Marshall, Esq. Ross Marshall is a passionate investment quality car collector and has been a connoisseur of Rolls Royce and Bentleys for over 50 years.
After his education at The King's School in Parramatta, and engineering at The Standard Motor Company in Coventry, England in 1956, Ross joined his family’s car dealership business, which later became the largest and most experienced Mercedes Benz dealer in Australia.
In the mid 1980’s, Ross decided to go into vehicle manufacturing and re-created the infamous MG TD sports car, a jewel of the ‘50’s, but with a modern drive line supplied by Nissan. After completing the development, he decided to pass the project to larger hands and subsequently relocated to the U.S.
He is a life member of the Rolls Royce Owners Club, the Derby Bentley Society, and the Bentley Drivers Club. He is still the proud owner of a beautiful original “one off” 1938 Derby Bentley Drop Head VdP Coupe.
